Richard Lassiter
Before I was a coach, I spent 20 years in the corporate world. Most recently I was the COO at a digital marketing agency. Before that, a marketer in the video games industry at brands including Sony PlayStation and Sega, and for Telefónica marketing telecommunications products for O2 in the UK, Movistar in Spain and Latin America, and Vivo in Brazil.
I started RL Performance because I love seeing people performing at their best. Coaching has the unique ability to transform your life, inside and outside of the office.
After seeing various coaches in action over the years, I wanted to combine my passion for people alongside my marketing, operational, and commercial experience to offer a coaching and training solution grounded in the reality of modern business.
I’ve worked in small, medium and large companies, startups and corporates, agency and client side, marketed and launched numerous products (some better than others!), and lived and worked in the UK, Australia, Spain and South America.
I’ve led both local and remote teams for more than 10 years. I’ve gained the most enjoyment from my work when I was leading, training and developing people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures.
I’ve had a lot of experience managing and coaching high-performing, high-potential employees, in particular Millennials. I understand the modern workforce and all its demands and expectations.
As a leader, I’ve invested considerable time in coaching and development. I know that the people who’ve worked for me have appreciated it, have grown in their roles, stayed for longer, and felt happier about coming to work. It helps people to feel fulfilled and typically makes them happier, both professionally and personally. I’m proud to be a Mental Health First Aider, too.
I live in London. I also speak at conferences about leadership, team performance and - as you’d expect - coaching.
